Over 30 years of experience handling personal injury cases

Our goal is to get the best possible outcome for you. Sometimes that means zealously negotiating with the insurance company. Other times it means bringing your case to the courtroom. My firm’s approach is that every case and client is unique, and our clients are treated like people, not numbers. Whatever your situation, we will provide honest, straightforward advice and help you make educated decisions. Sometimes that means telling you that your chances of winning are remote or that you don’t need a lawyer. By keeping you informed, you understand what is happening in your case every step of the way. We also know the importance of emotional support during personal injury cases, and work to create an environment where you feel comfortable discussing your situation.

Thomas J. McDonnell - Personal Injury Attorney

My approach to personal injury cases is unique in that I have seen them from both sides. In 1986, I began my career defending cases for insurance companies at a firm in Los Angeles. I became the youngest partner in the firm, and eventually moved on to a larger firm to become a managing partner. In 2001 I realized I did not want to spend the rest of my life working on behalf of insurance companies, so I opened a small practice representing people hurt in accidents—often against the same insurance companies I once defended. I know firsthand how insurance companies operate, and have the confidence and experience necessary to handle your case.
